Good morning everyone, (well, afternoon now).
Still warm and sunny in South Yorks - good because I've got all my holiday washing to dry! Had a lovely, if tiring, river cruise - a first for DH and me. Got home last night after a very long day of travelling. Now it's back to normal with a jolt. Oh well, here's to planning the next holiday. ?

DD and SIL are celebrating their silver wedding today, where have the years gone ?

It's cloudy but dry in the Tyne Valley. The sun is trying to break through. Housework for me today. I might be having my 8 year old grandson sometime today. He's an Aspie and has violent and explosive outbursts. He had two bad days, so my DD thinks a change of scenery and a day away from his younger brothers might help. I think he might like to mop the kitchen floor .

Good morning all have as a good a day as possible. Greyduster - its allowed to sometimes be like that, have those sort of days myself sometimes. Sun is out this morning but have had a bad night with not a lot of sleep. Got up for 2 paracetamol and stubbed my toe badly - ouch! Hope it stays sunny it will help, though it has got a September feel to it.

Plenty of time for your tomatoes nell . They are good this year aren't they? as well as the cucumbers. Plenty to give away.

maw how hard life seems at time. I always read your posts, and the replies. I hope the support on GN helps in some small way.

Cloud but a fine day is forecast. Must do some deadheading and tidying. Still lots of colour with more to come, but early autumn is here I think. The asters are soon about to do their thing, I love their colours, and would like to add to my collection.

Steamy, thundery and fretful kinda atmosphere. Awaiting t-storms.

Good morning everybody. I know we had some baking hot weeks when we were gasping, but I agree about autumnal. So is summer over? Even when we have had a beautiful September, temperatures have been "fresher".
Paw conscious yesterday if a bit "vacant". Still a bit confused but stroke or brain bleed both ruled out. However he was able to feed himself by evening and was responsive even if he wasn't sure if I was there at 8 in the evening or morning.
Feel steamrollered.

It's a bit 'back-endish' in North Leicestershire too gaga. Sun is shining brightly but it's a bit drippy as well.

We are meeting some old friends for lunch near Leamington Spa so are taking the opportunity to get DH's feet measured for some new walking boots while we are near a specialist shop.

The sun is shining here on the south coast so we are hoping for another nice day. It is definitely cooler though and beginning to feel a bit "back-endish".
