Good Morning Friday

Good morning (it is still morning!) from sunny Colchester.
Just got home from picking DS up from Gatwick after spending yesterday at Legoland with DGSs.
We are all exhausted and our afternoon naps start now!

A lovely sunny morning so far, with a light breeze. Yesterday became really warm. DH and I tackled the garden - I think the grass had grown about 6 inches whilst we were away. It was pretty hard going, anyway, as it was quite wet from all the rain. Done now and looks so much better ?

Good morning to all. Well we had summer yesterday in the NE - it was quite hot! I went out without a coat. Today started off nice but showers forecast. Quiet ish day but grandson coming this evening. Have as good a day as possible.

Greyish today but the forecast is good here in East Sussex. Hopefully a quieter day after looking after a poorly grandchild yesterday who is in the throes of potty training and had a very bad tummy (to put it delicately for this time of the morning). Enjoy your day everyone.

It was a lovely morning here in Rutland so I donned shorts for our visit to the bird fair - but there's a nasty black cloud rising up over the trees now. So I think I'll take my brolly.

Raining all night and still raining here in Renfrewshire.
Off to Edinburgh for the day with DD. We do this once a year in August when the festival is on. Lunch, shopping and today a visit to the National Museum of Scotland to see some of the exhibitions.
