Sunny early autumn day here on South Downs.

Cyclamen all out it flower, I love their dear little flowers quietly doing their thing in the hidden spots in the garden.

Beginning to plan what needs moving etc in the next month or so. Desperate to get a Gertrude Jekyll - I think it means sacrificing something which I'm not keen on doing.
All the shrubs I planted last autumn have done well except one -naturally it was the most expensive one .

Mums today.

Vegetable curry tonight as have enough left over from yesterday.

It's quite bright in North Leicestershire bit I've no idea what the f I recast is.

We didn't wake up till 7 this morning which is a bit confusing. I've got lots of bits and bobs to do today.

Lots of green with bits of colour here and there is my fall back flower arranging ploy too nfk!! It usually works!

Morning all! Lovely sunny morning here on the south coast but with a real nip in the air.

WI committee this morning followed by lunch in the pub where we gather to plan things. DH will be pottering in the garden and doing "bike maintenance" until I get back.

DS and DD and the DGC are all at a festival together for the weekend . The cousins have a whale of a time and look forward to it all year. It would be too noisy, too crowded and too uncomfortable for us!

A bright sunny start here in Norfolk.

No idea what we'll get up to today apart from my doing my turn to 'do the flowers' at the sailing club as there's visitors this weekend. They do brighten the place up and it's a chance to do a big arrangement, but always a challenge as I don't know what I'm doing. More an exercise in how to make a big arrangement from a lot of green gleaned from the garden and a few flowers. Having been talked into it once I don't seem to be able to extract myself!

Morning all from sunny N.Kent. Setting off for an early supermarket foray and then seeing family and a dear friend today - what's not to like?!
