Good morning, everyone.
There's a bit of blue showing in the sky now in South Yorks, so hoping it is going to brighten up a bit.
The show sounds good, mick, glad you enjoyed it and thank you for posting all those dates.
Sorry to hear your news nfk flowers.
Got to nip into town later, then finish ironing when I get back. Nothing more exciting than that today!

Thanks for all the hugs and sympathy Everyone. The advice to stay off the internet came too late I fear! Scary stuff! Early days though, lots of tests to come - and we're hanging on to the consultant saying that old age will probably get him first.

Marydoll Wed 27-Sep-17 08:01:54

Good morning Mick and all.
Lovely Autumn morning here, I hope it is as nice as yesterday.
Sorry to hear your news Nfk, it must have been a terrible shock for you both.
Osteoporosis clinic this morning to try and sort out my meds which I'm reacting badly to. No problem for years, then all of a sudden after a short break, wham! May squeeze a little shopping in, if DH is amenable.

Pittcity Wed 27-Sep-17 07:54:35

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Windows are misty on the outside. Still dry here.
Ladies coffee in town this morning.
((hugs)) nfk and here's to the NHS keeping us all going.

Greyduster Wed 27-Sep-17 07:53:38

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Glad you enjoyed your theatre trip, Mick!
It is dull and grey in South Yorkshire. Supposed to brighten up later. I am in no hurry to get off the ground. DS is coming down this evening to go to football with DH.
NfK I hope you and DH get out on the water today - you'll both want something to try and take your mind off that news for a bit. ? Coconut oil is very good for soothing itchy bites, by the way.

JaneD3 Wed 27-Sep-17 07:48:13

Thank you Nana3. It was mid term treats like this that I was looking forward to when I thought about retirement!

MawBroon Wed 27-Sep-17 07:44:02

Good morning, grey and fresh here, but it is supposed to warm up today.
NfkDumpling sorry to hear your news, I have PM'd you.

Nana3 Wed 27-Sep-17 07:42:50

Good morning everybody.

Overcast here but not wet. Yesterday was lovely, like a mild summer day.

Sorry to hear news Nfk . I know it's tempting but I'd keep off the Google as it can be frightening. I believe some cirrhosis can be managed very well. I will keep fingers crossed for you both.

Mick must catch Cilla, unless I've missed it already...

Hope everyone has a good day.

Nana3 Wed 27-Sep-17 07:38:01

Good morning, it's grey in Lancashire.
Sorry to hear about your DH NfkD, best wishes flowers.
Taking one day at a time with Mum, it's very sad.
Enjoying some time with DGD this evening, a lovely distraction.
Have a good day everyone.

JaneD3 Wed 27-Sep-17 07:36:51

Morning to everyone. Sorry to hear your news nfk - I hope you get good treatment.
First day of term for French - I think I will be a bit rusty. Then off to that there London before DD and I fly off to Barcelona for a few days. wine

Gagagran Wed 27-Sep-17 07:15:26

Morning all! Looks a bit grey here on the south coast but dry and mild.

Sorry about your DH's liver problems Nfk - must have been a shock. Also about the itchy ankles - it does sound like flea bites. Hope you get some relief from the itch.

Choir for me tonight and we carry on rehearsing for our Christmas concerts. Such a lot of work goes into them but it is so uplifting when we get it right!

Thinking of soop and MacS. They will be feeling the loss of Rory greatly.

Hope the day is a happy one for GNs sunshine

NanKate Wed 27-Sep-17 07:10:57

Good Morning Mick Kittyand Co.there is nothing like going to a live show is there Mick?

Sorry to hear your news Nfk hope you and DH gets some helpful advice on coping with the illness.

Off for a birthday Cream Today, it only seems 6 months since my last birthday. hmm

NfkDumpling Wed 27-Sep-17 06:56:32

Thanks Kitty, it was a bit of a shock. I'd spent a lot of time looking up the possible diabetes and now am about to trawl through cirrhosis (and get used to spelling it),

NfkDumpling Wed 27-Sep-17 06:54:41

I also meant to add that I'm glad Mick that Cilla was such a good show and you had a good time. I think it may even be coming to Norwich (unless I've missed it already), many shows don't and getting to London is expensive from here.

kittylester Wed 27-Sep-17 06:54:15

Morning Nfk. Sorry to hear about your Dh - that must be a shock. sad

kittylester Wed 27-Sep-17 06:51:12

Morning Mick, morning all!

It's hardly light yet in North Leicestershire but doesn't feel too cold and it's not raining.

Glad you enjoyed the show Mick. Ironing this morning and meeting a friend this afternoon.

Enjoy your Wednesdays everyone! sunshine

NfkDumpling Wed 27-Sep-17 06:50:08

Morning Mick, morning All

It's a still and clear dawn here in Norfolk with another lovely day forecast.

Visiting DGdog actually slept in this morning but I'm up early due to the very itchy mysterious bits around my ankles! They appeared yesterday, before dog came and I fear they may be hatched eggs from the fleas the other DGdogs brought with them a month ago. The spray obviously wasn't strong enough. Bums!

Hopefully I'll get DH out on our little boat today. He had bad news yesterday. Apparently he's got cirrhosis of the liver - not booze related and not horrendously bad yet, but it takes a bit to get the head around as it's come out of the blue.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight dull and grey start but dry, as to Cilla last night at MK theatre it was brilliant should be on in west end as its good, not touring UK as it is.
One of cast was in the ITV Cilla programme he then played Ringo but now playing another but similar role.
