Well, so far it's a bit grey and overcast, with the sun trying to break through here in South Yorkshire. The forecast is for a pleasant day, so fingers crossed.

Morning all! A pinkish hue to the high, light cloudy wisps over Leicester this morning. Thinks it's going to be a lovely day. An old friend ( from the far off days of University) is coming for lunch so I shall have to leave " you lot" to it - as those coarse folk in the ArgyBargy cafe would say.

Beautiful pink sky in Kent. H and I both have fasting blood tests this morning. People start queueing outside before the doors open at 8am. So a long wait. Then to Morrisons for breckie by which time we will be rather hungry

Had a disturbed night before I eventually managed to calm my over-stimulated brain after choir. Up just after 5am so will be zonked later today - and I have a lot to do. Hey ho.

Just about lightening here in West Midlands, not cold and the weather forecast is good. We haven't had a cold enough day yet to put heating on, no doubt that will change soon...

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Not often I am up this early, and it is still dark outside so I’ll have to leave the weather to my South Yorkshire compatriot! I have a friend I haven't seen in a while coming to lunch today and I have been awake half the night with a developing cold, so I will probably be asleep by the time we are ready for pudding!
