Good morning Mick and all. Dry here in Kent and hopefully we will see the sun too. It has been a beautiful autumn here - wonder what havoc the wind will cause today?!

Morning Mick, morning imp, morning all.

It's quite blustery with a little rain in North Leicestershire already.

We have Bertie and Persie today and tomorrow. They are a joy (for a couple of days!).

Enjoy your days everyone.

Morning Mick Imperfect kitty and all.

Not opened the curtains yet, in fact not got up yet. I'll take your word in the weather Imperfect.
Out to dinner tonight with friends who now live in France.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is what can only be described as murky in South Yorkshire. A thick grey mist is hiding the landscape. We had a lovely but very long day out yesterday at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Today, apart from a few errands, we are not doing a lot! Enjoys your day, whatever you are doing.

Good morning everyone. Just got in and can hear it's just started to rain. Still dark but not too cool yet. Ideas of sorting out the allotment put on hold!

Have a good day everyone

Good morning from an overcast but warm Colchester. Humid with condensation on the outside of the windows and not a breathe of wind. Forecast to be another summery day like yesterday.
Walking Netball this morning and we have moved indoors for the winter, so the weather was bound to imprive!

Morning Mick Kitty and All.

Off to Sussex until next Saturday to get our grandchildren 6 and 4 up and dressed for school each day, easier said than done. Collect them at a variety of different times, get one to Beavers, Tennis, both to swimming, get their supper, bath them, get the eldest to read every day to get House points. It's going to be a bit busy ☺️

Looks as if the weather near the coast will be nice today.

Good morning All . Warm cloudy and windy out in Cheshire today.
There was a quick glimpse of a rather angry looking red sun earlier.

Morning All

Back from our brief sojourn at Sandringham, and very nice it was too. We visited Ely for the first time (silly when it's really quite close - just not close enough) and will return. It's a lovely little city.

Not a breath of wind in the north of Norfolk. And very misty. A north west / south east divide?

Just seen a small flock of goldcrests in the garden.

I'm collecting DGS from nursery today for a sleep over. DS's wedding anniversary so they're walking to the pub for a drink and getting an M&S £10 deal for a romantic evening in.

Good morning, it is dry here and calmer than yesterday. Washer on and then need to do general housework after the busy weekend.

Mapleleaf Mon 16-Oct-17 09:38:55

Morning all GN's,
As greyduster says, it is very murky here, such a contrast to yesterday. It might brighten up later. Not got the wind just yet and I think we might miss the worst of it according to the forecast.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning from south East Cornwall. It is quite breezy at the moment. We have put away anything which may be vulnerable, bought two days worth of food and repaired the poly tunnel door so now we are ready to hunker down while hurricane Ophelia passes by.

Nelliemoser Mon 16-Oct-17 09:59:28

The wind has got up a lot since I first posted an hour ago.

Good morning. Nellie, it's coming and going here (not far from you). The big birch tree, just beyond my garden, was swaying madly an hour ago and is now swaying a bit more gently.

Hello again, everyone.
Well, the misty murk has gone, but now there's a bit of breeze and a very strangely coloured sky here in South Yorkshire which the local weather forecast has said is the result of smoke blowing in from fires in Portugal. Looks quite eerie. Not cold, though.
