Good morning all, very dark and damp here.
Mick, my DH and I would love to see the show. I hope you enjoy it.
Nana, I'm glad you got through yesterday.
Nelliemoser, I'm sorry you are a bit low.
We are off out to the builders to discuss extending our downstairs loo into a shower room, as I'm struggling getting in and out the bath. I'm trying to prepare for the future now, before it is too late.

Nelliemoser Tue 24-Oct-17 08:11:57

Good morning all. It looks like we could get quite wet today. I am feeling sorry for myself at the moment. Christmas is creeping up on me not the most. And a festive day with a partner who does not do socialising is not much fun.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark but dry in South Yorkshire. However, the forecast is for heavy rain today. DH is painting today and I have some errands that will take me into town. Glad yesterday went off well, Nana3 - these occasions are never easy. Have a good day, folks.

Nana3 Tue 24-Oct-17 07:00:15

Good morning from Lancashire, it was absolutely throwing it down when I got up to make tea.
Mum's funeral is over with and I feel relief, the church was almost full. It went smoothly, I must write some thank you cards. I got through my eulogy almost to the end without too much faltering.
Thank you to everyone for encouraging words yesterday, as always GN friends give support that really works.
Have a good day everyone.

Gagagran Tue 24-Oct-17 06:56:04

Morning Mick nina and all!

It feels very mild here on the south coast and I think yesterday's rain may have gone elsewhere. Too dark to see!

Library and a bit of shopping for me this morning then ironing awaits.

Hope the day is a good one for GNs. sunshine

Morning All

Dark and dry here in Norfolk. It was supposed to rain to water our freshly planted polyanthus in yesterday, but it's still dry so I'll be out with the watering can when it's light. Bet it'll rain then.
