Just a light covering of snow here in York. We have a GN meet-up in town later today. Fingers crossed that the out of town GNers can make it safely.

Good morning from the South Downs

The first snow of the winter. Who’d have thunk so late in the winter? Sky leaden and looking heavy with snow.

Must totter into the garden to feed the birds. I’m an idiot on slippery surfaces. One year managed to slip and ended up on my bottom with both feet in the pond!
We been on the Downs live on a hill so it is always difficult/ impossible to move when it is slippery.
Keep warm folks and enjoy the pretty wonderland.

1"-2" snow here in Kent and it's just started again with strong winds. The main road to anywhere from here is closed.
Need to food shop but it's just down the road.......if they have anything llef.

We have a light covering of fairy snow here on the south coast but it is very cold and set for snow showers today according to the forecast. Certainly nothing disruptive so far and I will be surprised if it is. We are from the Pennines and suffered many bad winters in the past so are not worried about the south coast winters at all.

Hope the day is a good one for all, especially for all those Grans who are unwell or unhappy.
