Quick visit to cake decorating shop to pick up supplies Dd1 s birthday cake. Lunch with a friend and an hour or so baby sitting.

Not much planned apart from prepping a beef stew for the slow cooker. I should be doing some paperwork. Hmmmmm

Nice blue sky here, looks like another hot day, we were thankful for the breeze yesterday, but my dreaded heat rash is up already, so it’s an indoors day for me, thank goodness for the Kindle....

We had a lovely day yesterday, GC played Cleudo for hours with requests for me to join them on the floor, had to decline as I would never have got up again.

It's wet but not cold in North Leicestershire this morning

Today we are off back to Ikea to change the storage unit I mismeasured last week. And we are looking at a new car for me! I know which one I would like but we have to do really in depth investigations before we decide I was right!
