Good Morning All from a grey South London. A few chores this morning, a relaxing afternoon and then a chicken curry to make for my husband and I and our two guests - my eldest daughter and our sister-in-law. I believe there has also been a request for a game of UNO afterwards - we have such fun playing it but seem to have forgotten it lately!!

If it stays fine I believe a friend and I are off to Castle Ashby Arboretum and gardens this afternoon. It will be our third attempt, washed out on both previous occasions - so look out for flash ☔️ ? ? and ? ? everybody!

Harri distressing hearing of your discomfort and it is imperitive that you are able to have your pain controlled,hopefully the Specialist Nurse is the right person to sort this out...........and soon.

Good morning from an overcast Colchester. Woke late, DH went fishing at silly o'clock, and realised I had nothing planned today. I will pootle and relax until he returns and then tell him I haven't stopped all day

I had an unpleasant reaction to my pain killing patches yesterday, I got quite a fright, so back to the pharmacy with them.

A day to catch up on housework. Also need to make cakes for club social tomorrow evening and finish preparing the project for craft club. Then I’ll relax at my manicure appointment.

Specialist nurse coming this morning to check me over and hopefully impart some of her wisdom.
I had a disturbed night, up every two hours, pain control is not really working and I have a lot of discomfort.

Morning All. Sunny start in our corner of Somerset, a little cooler I think. Meeting a GN friend for coffee and lunch today so a good day ahead. Be kind to yourself nana3, sounds a good start to your holiday nankate, we haven’t made it to an NT property for ages, must make an effort. I’m curious about your guest now kitty, hoovering I understand but polishing only happens here at Christmas . Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

Back to greyness here in Norfolk, but at least the wind isn’t as cold.

DS’s dog has settled back into his second home. He does get spoilt here - but then he is our Granddog and entitled. Hopefully the sun will burn through this afternoon and we can manage a short walk in the woods.

It's a little cloudy but muggy in North Leicestershire. I have a busy volunteering day ahead. I should really be hoovering a polishing as I have an important visitor coming on Thursday!

Lovely start to the day here on the soth coast with warm sunshine already.

Trip to the tip on the agenda for today - several large bags of garden waste following the major pruning session on Sunday. We have no space for a compost pile and the council don't collect it.
