If so, please desist! How else to explain these sharp stabbing pains in my neck? I thought I hadn't a care or enemy in the world, but someone must have created my wax effigy, now that Halloween madness has descended! My worry is that they switch attention to other parts. 
I thought effigies were only of your favourite enemy; there's food for thought!
I've had a few loyal Royal toasts lately, but I thought I'd produced enough Shiraz anti-bodies to last a life-time, so perhaps I need a few more booster shots. I'd hate to be (have) a pain in the neck.
