I found my rings!

Yesterday I put on a pair of jeans and deep in the right hand pocket were all 3 rings! I had searched the pocket of these jeans and all my trousers several times, how had I missed them? I feel a right plonker!
Sincere thanks to everyone who replied to my original post, thank you for your good thoughts and your prayers. I believe that all of them worked towards letting my rings be found. I am so relieved and will be extra careful from now on.

Phew ! Glad you have found them.

My son explained to me long ago that there is a gap in the space/time continuum and sometimes things fall through it. No matter how much you search you won't find them. Then one day they fall back through and you will find them somewhere you have searched before. I find this theory very comforting when something lost suddenly reappears. Not my fault!

Bonnieblooming, that's great. Can you find mine for me now? Nice gold ring with a ruby surrounded by diamonds. No idea what happened to it.

I'm pleased your rings turned up. Mind over matter is very strong. If you tell yourself you can't find something, chances are you won't find it! Then, when you're not looking for it and your mind is relaxed, Bingo!, there it is!

Great news Bonnie... I knew there’d be in a pocket somewhere. Mine usually were.

I'm so pleased you found your rings. It's a huge relief, isn't it. I know exactly how you are feeling. I think elation best described how I felt when I found my pendant.

Brilliant! I'm so glad you found them. I'll bet you had the best day in the world after that.

ReadyMeals Sat 18-May-19 10:34:05

You hadn't missed them. They returned there after you looked. Sorry but I am 99.9% sure now these things DO happen for real.

Theoddbird Sat 18-May-19 10:27:21

Wonderful. You say you looked there before and they were not there. They were then put where you would find them....not where you lost them.... Life is strange

So pleased for you.

Candelle Sat 18-May-19 09:59:05

So pleased for you! I was wondering if you had come across them.

I once thought I had items stolen from a hotel room but to my chagrin later found I had hidden deep in the bottom of a rucksack - although I had gone through it several times. I had to apologise profusely to the hotel... v embarrassing but very necessary!

Excellent news to start the weekend.

GreenGran78 Sat 18-May-19 09:38:26

Yay! Isn’t it maddening when you KNOW that you have searched a place, then the lost items turn up there! It’s always happening to me. I’m SO happy for you.
Talking of St. Anthony, I found out during a quiz, yesterday, that he is also the patron saint of gravediggers!
