Have you tried asking your current supplier to see if they do a duel-fuel package?
I think most companies have a standing charge but we have duel fuel and it's worked for us.

Hi, I have a gas meter but only use electric, does anyone know of a gas supplier that doesn't have a standing charge?
Was with ebico previously.
