Have you tried eBay. I bought some lovely Welsh waffle blankets at a very, very, reasonable price.

JD Williams do them. They do a free returns if you don't like anything.

Amazon do a hotel style white waffle blanket that is 100% cotton and they claim is soft and lightweight.

I've just googled traditional cotton honeycomb blanket and found a lot of different ones.

www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/gulsparv-blanket-white-40427109/?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwm_SzBhAsEiwAXE2Cv9OthrCFPL1eHpoy72aKmDbpIau_DEBCzaeRp0ajwKIDjDbUX0nogRoCl8cQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

This isn't a true waffle (i.e. Honeycomb weave) but is cotton.

If you do an on line search under 'cellular blanket' quite a few come up. Unless they are cotton, they will probably be off-white rather than pure white, like this: cellular blanket

Does anyone know where to get old-school lightweight ‘waffle’ blankets, the ones with the satin edging? Amazon has some but I don’t want wool or muslin and I just don’t like the look of most of them! Don’t want a throw/tassels….
The nearest I’ve found is Chums, but they don’t do them in white, which is what I’m after.
And tbh I’d like to be able to feel before I buy (I know! Fancy wanting to see/touch something BEFORE you buy it!!), but even Dunelm only have fleecy stuff or thick waffle throws in store.
So I’m just wondering if there are any hidden away secret places that do light blankets for menapausal Graunties!!
