Formal letters using my first name

Nope. In business matters I prefer to keep it formal. My family and friends use my first name. I dont feel the need to be friends with my energy provider or my financial adviser.

You wouldn’t last long in Australia. They very rarely use surnames anywhere. I think it is nice and friendly, personally.

Most formal letters address me as Mrs A but I don't think I would mind my first name being used.

I welcome less formal ways better than some uptight expectations historically. I’m a Ms, not Mrs or Miss. I was never Mrs (husbands initial) husbands last name. I was Ms iam from my twenties and I’m still her in my late seventies

I dont mind it at all.
Part of my mind still thinks of Mrs......... as my long-gone MIL!

Am I alone in finding it annoying to be address by my first name even in formal letters? I must be getting old!
