GS has visitors in his hair again! best treatment?

Would agree with the advice on regular use of a nit comb and lots of hair washing and conditioner. When my GD picked up head lice at school the treatment from the chemist was messy and nowhere near as effective as persistence with a good quality comb.She was clear in about a week.

Must say I have never ever seen a nit/lice...my girls never had it but GS seems to pick it up easily even though his hair is short.. ok thanks all will see if he will sit still long enough lol and catch him before he dashes off out to play.

Slathered in hair conditioner and thorough use of nit comb I'm afraid. Use cheap conditioner and do this very regulary washing hair after treatment.

It's a bloomin' nuisance and rampant, I'm surprised this is only the third time. Good luck.

nit comb twice a day over a white sink or a sheet so you can see when you are not catching any more beasties. Two weeks should do it.
