What is it about movies and snoring! smile

A couple of weeks ago husband and I, both having the day off, decided to go to a 4 p.m. movie we had been looking forward to, not least because of recommendations on these forums. (The Grand Budapest Hotel). Happily chatting on the way to the movie house about what fun it was to go to movies in the day time and how one day when we are both retired just imagine how we can just off to see a movie etc etc.

We settled into the wide comfortable chairs (it's a small art house type cinema) and soon the opening scenes came on.

About an hour later, his snoring woke me! grin. Thank goodness the movie house was relatively empty.

We made a vow never to go to a movie during the day again at more or less what could be "nap time".

Couldn't tell you what the movie was about!

I love to blame my husband for many things but have decided that the dog's snoring is far worse than his and has an amazing capacity to last forever!

one day our little girl was sleeping with us..she got up due to my husbands snores...and said.. what is daddy doing..why is he making sounds like Peppa pig's daddy? It was difficult to explain. I normally turn him on his side ...but he snores really loudly !!

Like a few other people have said, unfortunately it's me that snores the most in our house (or so my hubby tells me, I don't believe him though as I've never heard myself snore)!

The other week my long suffering hubby came downstairs at 4am as he couldn't get back to sleep with the noise I was making (I'm sure it wasn't that bad). And settled downstairs to try and get a bit more sleep. But, he then realised our 10 month old pup also snores so he still didn't get any sleep.

Snoring can create problems between two people in a relationship. My husband would actually get irritated due to my snoring habits. He could not sleep well at night and often used to complain about my loud snoring. I tried few home remedies to get rid of snoring and these remedies seemed to work for me. According to my husband I don't snore too loud now.

Our cat is the culprit in our household. It's ok when she sleeps at the bottom of our bed as a gentle, well aimed nudge will stop her. But if she chooses to sleep out on the landing or in her own bed then we can't reach her! Bless!
