Has anyone used a vibrator plate?Ive been given a second hand one,and together with dieting have been trying to get rid of (or at least tone) my cellulite.it has definatly lifted my flabby thighs up,but have developed piles which are itchy uncomfortable and driving me mad! I have been sitting on the plate to tone my bum,I have had piles from time to time but never this long?using cream, and pessaries, but nothing's worked yet.have stopped using the plate anyone had same problem?

You're not supposed to sit on them hmm

I stood on one in John Lewis, and switched it on. I just managed to hop off before I wet myself. The vibrating was horrible.

I honestly cannot see how a vibrator plate would do anything to help your cellulite or exacerbate your piles.

I am sure suppositories would be more reliable for the piles.

As for cellulite just generally do more exercise, eat plenty of fruit and veg, be as active as you can and work towards losing weight.

Just fast walking daily will help. I think just exercising without reducing calorie intake will not help much at all.

Me too with regard to the vibrating plate it's what the builder uses on the ground before laying a patio.

Were there any side effects from sitting on it, apart from the piles?

Nellie, have lost a stone since beginning of March eat loads of fruit and veg,and been having smaller portions.but no alcohol (boring).allow myself one glass of wine at weekend.Think I'd have lost it quicker, but for all the usual family B days Easter and so on.have only been using the plate for three
Weeks.AKA,yes your probably right.but it's just so easy sitting there letting the machine do all the work!Yes got The other kind of vibratorsmile

You are supposed to do exercises whilst standing on it. Just sitting on it can't do a thing! Just standing still on it won't do anything either.
