Hear, hear!! GK

pompa I'd imagine your GN fan club has just doubled its membership grin. What a great post.

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 09:09:13

Probably because I joined it. smile

This may be a serious problem (depending on your view of serious - after all it's not life threatening) but it does have an amusing side.

I have had the problem for many years, but can still joke about it. Sex is good, but the lack of it has never affected our relationship, just gave us time to read more books.

GN does give a platform for members to discuss problems like this as we are anonymous, I have never discussed this with anyone else, perhaps if I had, I would have found the solution years ago.

Even when this thread has broken down into smut, it has still been respectful.

Indeed galen - it was a great hit at our Christmas party too!

How did this serious thread sink so far?!

Galen Tue 06-Jan-15 21:21:29

mishap I remem that one! Postmen complained because it was delivered in a clearcover! The photo on the front was graphic!

Ana Tue 06-Jan-15 21:07:14

Wedding ring??? He must have had a very thin penis! confused

loopylou Tue 06-Jan-15 20:50:17

A darning 'mushroom' in bowel......[cross-eyed emoticon]

Mishap Tue 06-Jan-15 20:47:02

The edition with photos of piercings and rings was a bit eye-watering too!

granjura Tue 06-Jan-15 20:36:07

No wonder A&E is in a mess ;)

loopylou Tue 06-Jan-15 20:32:39

'My wedding ring slipped off my finger'
'The elastic band was in my pocket which must have had a hole in it.....'
'I was hoovering the living room and the cleaner hose jumped'
'At 2am I drove to X (well known gay meeting place) because I was taken short on my way home from work (X by the way was 20 miles in the opposite direction to his home). Please tell my wife I tripped over a cat' (from man with extensive severe bruising, black eyes, lacerations on his back and an ear torn off)
'I was standing on the broom to open the window' (perforated bowel)
'It's my birthday and I didn't want to make my girlfriend pregnant'
And someone who utilised a Jubilee clip and broke off the 'key' days earlier and then realised it was visible through his trousers only when noticed work colleagues unable to look him in the eye........

granjura Tue 06-Jan-15 20:18:36

I know someone who had to remove a potatoe from an old man's bottom in casualty- apparently it had got 'in there' by accident as he sat on it- in the days before butt plugs were freely available (not that I would know, of course).

Mishap Tue 06-Jan-15 20:15:22

I think the mascara brush in the bladder (of a woman) was one of the most amazing BMJ photos! Ouch!

pompa Tue 06-Jan-15 20:03:36

Come on, give us a laugh, lets have some of the reasons given.

pompa Tue 06-Jan-15 20:02:33

Galen, is that your usual chat up line ?

Nylon zips are not as lethal as the old metal ones.

loopylou Tue 06-Jan-15 20:00:11

And sometimes the reasons given for turning up in A+E beggared belief! Must have thought nurses were either stupid or as gullible as goodness knows what grin

Galen Tue 06-Jan-15 19:56:26

I've seen many! Also many a penis caught in a zip by men going commando! Do you go commando pompa?

loopylou Tue 06-Jan-15 19:18:09

If blood supply compromised not need to do anything, as per granjura's post, it'll just drop off and you can put the ring back in the garage pompa!

Elegran Tue 06-Jan-15 19:13:15

A bit drastic removing it! Couldn't they just remove the ring?

pompa Tue 06-Jan-15 19:12:53

Glad I'm not looking for sympathy from you lot !

loopylou Tue 06-Jan-15 19:09:48

And you wouldn't be the first! grin

Mishap Tue 06-Jan-15 18:57:54

You can go to A&E to have it removed - you might have to wait 4 hours. You would make their day and provide a little light relief!

granjura Tue 06-Jan-15 18:42:59

Well if you don't 'it' might fall off (not the ring)- never been a lamb farmer? ;)

pompa Tue 06-Jan-15 18:21:02

I wonder if I can take it off yet ?

granjura Tue 06-Jan-15 16:33:58

as Mishap says- don't come complaining now Pompa-
