Let's hope so Ana.

You all seem to be surprised at what our Tourist Information provides. It is also shares its shop with the local council, so maybe they supplied the books.

You can get jam, tea and tea towels there too. smile

Many T I offices are now closed such as on the Isle of Wight and Lymington. I suppose they think most people now would access info from the Internet.

At least some of the information in the booklets will (hopefully!) be out of date by the time they're relevant to you...confused

Reurned should be returned. I don't know though, reurned is quite apt.

Tourist information? Well, Shakespeare did call death "that undiscovered country, from whose bourn no traveller returns". A spot of tourist information could come in handy (though how to compile it when no traveller has reurned . . .)

Today when DH got back from the shops he said he had popped into the Tourist Information and he had collected from them free booklets of 'What to do when someone dies', 'Dealing with Dementia' etc.

I have stashed the booklets away and hope I won't have to use them for a few years, however it is always better to be prepared for life's 'downs'.

Have you used them and were they helpful ?
