Depression

After my performance in Connect, I should stick to tiddlywinks.

I am trying to get my head around how we could have a quiz thread -- or it there already one.
I have an idea how it would work, but it would need help from GNHQ to clear the thread occasionally, I have already contacted them.

I am feeling more positive this morning.

Sorry - Only Connect is a panel game that used to be on BBC4 but is now on BBC2, chaired by the brilliant Victoria Coren-Mitchell. One of the rounds is called the connecting wall and you have a wall with 16 items, which can be sorted into connecting groups of 4. If you goggle Only Connect you can play lots of different walls. I knew that pompa liked doing that so thought it might take his mind off his woes to play a few games.

Ok I've chosen a wall, 449, assume I mustn't look at until we start.

Been out today, took my model boats down to our local boating lake, not enough wind for my yacht, but the power boats went well. Very pleasant bit of sun and plenty of sea air. Surprised that there weren't more children there, a few crabbing (the boating lake is full of them as it is re-filled at high tide)
Also managed a few jobs in the garden with Mrs P's help.

Mishap, how does playing against each other on "only Connect" work. sounds good.

Swimming, Mrs. P was dreading that I might have tried some involuntary swimming in the boating lake.

Can I challenge you to an Only Connect duel pompa? Pick a wall from the website, let me know the number and we can both (and any others who fancy it) do it. Best of 3 maybe?

Hoping that this low mood doesn't last too long, as you say insomnia doesn't help.
Any chance you could go swimming? I find that a good exercise and it lifts the spirits too.
