My DD waited just under a week for biopsy results, she recently went to breast cancer clinic within local hospital.

Depends on where the problem is I think. When I found a lump in my breast I was referred to a one stop clinic. Mammograms, biopsy and other tests all with results given while you wait. Yes it was malignant but that was 20 years ago so a great outcome. Waiting is almost the worst part.

DH had a prostate operation in September, he had a follow up appointment just after Christmas where they told him the biopsy was clear.

DH waited about three weeks but I know it can be longer.
