Retrograde step, overdoing things or impatience?

Could the steroids have done their job reducing the inflammation so now the mucus is 'looser'? If you're feeling better then perhaps it's the illness clearing up- you could always phone the surgery and ask if you should be concerned.

Feeling much better after my three day steroid burst plus antibiotics.... until today. The rattly cough seems to be coming back despite still being on antibiotics and wondered if I'm going backwards and need to harass surgery in the morning. I went into town yesterday as we were looking after DGD for the weekend, did an M&S shop then went to see Paddington at the cinema (fab film, by the way!). Have I overdone things as well or am I just being totally unreasonable expecting to be much fitter after 5 days? DH always says progress isn't linear.
