I've never heard of it Tricia and I nursed when I was younger. I can only suggest to look it up online and see what it says, but you have probably already done that. I hope he continues to be painfree.

I nursed too and never heard of it but specialists are forever redefining things. i have sciatica with a trapped nerve and spinal arthritis only pain killers offered though. Hope it works for him.

Evidently the crural nerve is a branch of the sciatic nerve which serves the thigh muscles and skin tissue.
Husband is usually very stoic about pain, so it must be bad.
We're going back on Friday for another injection. The specialist is quite young, very keen and speaks some english! (We're in France.)
Teetime - a friend in England had bad sciatica and her doctor put her on a psychotropic drug which blocks out the pain centre in the brain. And it worked.
