Having been post-menopausal for almost ten years I've suddenly broken out in spots and had some very light bleeding and period pain. shock I'd truly forgotten what it felt like, but for the last two mornings I've woken up and gone straight to the mirror to check out the new eruptions on my face! confused

Bleeding after ten years shouldn't be ignored ga I'd be making a GP appointment.

That's rather strange grannya, are you going to ask you GP to check you out?
It's probably nothing serious but would give you peace of mind, and teenager-like, you might be able to blame your hormones!

It might be a good idea to get this checked out for your peace of mind.

Good advice. See you GP.

As one eruption diminishes another volcano grows elsewhere on my face - I do not look at my best right now! [Yuck]
I had slight bleeding once before about seven years ago and it turned out to be nothing to worry about, but I will make an appointment to see my GP just in case. Having spent the last few months urging my mother and my mother in law not to ignore health problems I would be a real hypocrite if I ignored mine. smile

Indeed! Hope the GP is able to reassure you.

It's very important that you see your GP. Post menopausal bleeding should never be ignored.

Got my 'two week wait' appointment through for Friday the 13th. Was told there are plenty on that day as so many people are too superstitious to attend. Good job I'm not one of them! grin
I'm expecting to be told that I have to come off HRT and I am seriously dreading that as menopause first time round was horrendous.
