Yes, you should! And of course you'd need a guide smile

Hi Mishap, please see my reply to your 'Topiramate' question, dated 27.2.15.

Mishap I'm sorry to hear about this, it is just not right angry. I too take Magnesium Kelates 100mg, plus CoEnzyme Q10 and B complex daily. These were "prescribed " by a well-respected migraine center here. I got a full plan for prevention, onset and emergency help. It ultimately reduced my migraines from multiple times a week to 2-3 a month. I continue to follow this plan 5 years on. I hope you find something workable soon. flowers PS I couldn't tolerate topamax or depakote, but others do. I have an alternative.

I have been taking calcium +magnesium, Vit D, C+lycine and B6&12 for many years with +ve results. For migraine I also eat the leaves of the feverfew herb as soon as the aura /nausea begins. This stops it in its tracks. I do not take any pharma drugs.

Anyone taken this?

I have been researching migraine prevention and looked on the Migraine Trust website where they have summaries of research into treatments. It seems that the Topiramate that I have been prescribed has equivocal evidence about whether it works or not.

But research into CoEnzyme Q10 and magnesium is much more positive. There seems to be some inter-relation between calcium and magnesium absorption, and as I am already prescribed calcium and Vit D, I don't want to take it if it is contra-indicated.
