Pleased you had a positive experience as I'm sure many do with the NHS. myself included.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

newist How lovely that you've felt moved to express your appreciation for the treatment you received from the NHS and the kindness of hospital staff and all the other people that you encountered following your op. It was so uplifting to read such a positive post.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone who gave me advice and good wishes, before I went to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to get my skin cancer sorted,
I am back home now and tomorrow I am going to the doctors to get the stitches out, they start off just inside one nostril go down my lip then inside my mouth. I have looked better but I am so grateful to the NHS for the wonderful care and kindness I have been shown, they even made my OH toast and tea when he came to collect me at 7am so we could fly home, I think I did stand out a bit in the airport especially at the check-in desk, I didn't look much like the photo on my driving licence, so Flyby treat me like royalty going very quickly through a small security check. Every one involved turned a not very nice occasion into something memorable, even the checklist of what to take with me, from all you ladies worked out well, Thanks
