DVT Scan

Got to go back for another DVT scan tomorrow. Seems as though I have a blood clot in my leg. NOT looking forward to it because my ruddy leg is swollen and VERY painful and DVT scans are not very gentle because the tracer that is held has to be pushed hard against the vein to scan it.

Doctor gave me an injection yesterday but told not to have anymore until the scan has been done. Got to be there at 9am so it will mean an early start because getting to Leicester from where I live in the mornings can behold ups left right and centre.

Wish me luck because I was told last week that if they cant get to the root of it I could be kept in. That is the last thing I want with hubby being as he is.

Fingers crossed Maywalk. Maybe the traffic will be quieter as everyone will have been up all night watching the election? -Just trying to look on the bright side. How do they think you developed the DVT? A long flight or just sitting for a long time awkwardly?

Hope it all goes OK May we are off to Glenfield this afternoon - DH has a breast lump so he needs investigating too. Our app is 18.20 right in the middle of rush hour - still these things are sent to try us.

Good luck Maywalk I hope that they can sort it and that you don't have to stay in. I got tested once for a DVT after my son was born but it was pulmonary oedema and I had to have life saving medication.

Teetime or anyone, my son asked about the breast cancer night walk. Can men go on this as men can get breast cancer? He thought it unfair if not allowed.
