As well as the persistent coughing he is constantly clearing his throat and has had five chest infections in the last year. His doctor diagnosed asthma, although he has never had an asthma attack, and he also has allergic rhinitis. All the doctor does is give short doses of steroids and antibiotics for the infections, and he has his regular meds for the rhinitis. Apart from feeling like screaming everytime he clears his throat I am concerned that the coughing, which has been almost constant for two years is showing no sign of improvement. I feel OH should ask for a second opinion, but he won't! Any advice?
