My mother - 90 - has asked me to research something. She has heard of some headphones 'advertised in the Radio Times and called AMB something'. Apparently you wear them on your head all the time, and they work as hearing aids. I have only heard of these things for people who need the TV or radio amplified, not for increasing the volume of normal speech.
A search on the web doesn't reveal anything.
She has hearing aids, but won't wear them as she finds them uncomfortable (this is because they are fiddly to put in - when they are in properly they are fine).
Any ideas? Thank you!
Anyone else not watching the World Cup
do you have plasterboard on your walls?
