Coolgran maybe I should have taken longer....but this was a lot slower than the doctor told me!
I think the trouble that morning may have been when my adrenals were kicking in again....so far no repeat.

Thanks * Crafting* things do seem to be improving. (Touches wood)

Alie I was on 50mg for a year. Then spent 15 months reducing very gently and gradually until I was on a half tablet, then a quarter tablet, or as near as was possible with a pill cutter. Then a quarter tablet every other day. It was a real slog but came off them with no issues.
They are a great medication but very powerful. I hope you're feeling better.

Alie be kind to yourself, you have had so much to deal with, no wonder you feel weepy. I'm glad you felt a bit better today. Hope you improve day by day. flowers ((huggs)) and a virtual shoulder to cry on if you need it. Hope the counselling helps.

No, I took 5 weeks to reduce to zero from 20mg.
Not the same today thank goodness, but I was very weepy in counselling this morning and am now very tired.

Feeling very overwhelmed with things I must do, as I am trying to go back to my maiden name and this has produced floods of paperwork!

Hope this posts s I am having problems with GN today.

Yes Ali it can make you anxious and depressed. Have you cut down on them too quickly? Ask the GP if the anxiety and depression continue. I know you have good cause for those feelings with all that you have been through, so hope docs can help in some way.

Finished tapering off last Friday, 18th.

Slept well for the first time in about a week last night....and woke up feeling so anxious and depressed that I have cried for hours this morning. Some of it is to do with coming off the steroids, I have had dizzy spells and anxiety and can't do much without stopping, like I walked to the bank and then had to sit down. But this was extreme.
