We have just been to have our flu jabs with the new practice we have registered with - we were gobsmacked! They had hired the village hall and when we arrived we thought we had come on the wrong day as we walked in and there was a jolly fete going on with everyone drinking cups of tea and eating cake. They were fundraising for the local hospice, and in the corner was the flu jab bit and you just strolled over and had your jab after buying your raffle tickets and generally joining in the fun! It was great!
I never imagined a flu jab could be a social event.
Anyone else not watching the World Cup
