Although there is a risk from carbon monoxide throughout the year - as the evenings draw in and we need to heat our homes, please be aware of the dangers of this 'silent killer'. We were interviewed by Good Morning Britain because of new research that had come out which states that 30m homes could be at risk from carbon monoxide. www.itv.com/goodmorningbritain/news/katies-parents-warn-of-silent-killer-carbon-monoxide-poisoning

I am so sorry to read of your loss absam1. CO is indeed the silent killer. We have gas central heating, gas cooker and a gas fire and it is something I'm very aware of, especially after hearing of tragedies such as yours. I bought an alarm a couple of years ago and regularly check that it is working.
Thanks for the post. It is very good advice. flowers for you.

Thank you for pointing this out - I will check our alarm today and make sure that my children have one.

What a sad loss for you - thank you for using this tragedy to help others by raising awareness. flowers
