annsixty I wish that were the case for me, I've been on statins for a few years now.
Katek it's more than one though two fingers on each hand, but this is the worst.
I've always been able to grow my nails to a good length and have never had 'falsies' but it looks like I'm going to have to cut them down and find a good nail tech. tchsad

It looks as though you may have damaged the nail bed at some point. I have one that does this and that's what my nail tech told me. I just can't let it get too long.

Pure coincidence I am sure but since I started taking statins my nails have stopped splitting and breaking . Sorry I can't help with your problem nina.

Do you have weak nails ninathenana and Elegran?
Since I've started having a few Haribo gums a couple of times a week, my nails have grown really quickly and are the strongest they've ever been.
I love milk bottle gums too so they're just as good!

I've no answer, but some of my toenails do the same.

For quiet a while now two three of my finger nails have curled under as they grow (see pic) this one is the worst yet. I've Googled the possible indications but can't find a definitive answer.
Anyone else have this problem
