Peripheral neuropathy

I have a " burning feeling in one foot and lower leg", I expect its peripheral neuropathy and am having tests under a neurologist. I gather there are no treatments that can stop or cure it, only pain relief tablets? Have had all the blood tests...no diabetes, no low b12, no thyroid problems etc...the only thing I had was a slightly low vitamin D....

Have you ever had back or hip problems Yogadatti? I had a back injury which caused spinal damage and sciatica for a long time which resulted in peripheral neuropathy, I had surgery on my spine and some time later a hip-replacement which for the most part cured the sciatica but I still have the p/n in my leg foot and toes from time to time although its nowhere near as bad as it used to be.
