Usually everything now goes electronically. What were they using? Carrier pigeons?

I am not in the least surprised petra I waited 10 weeks for my first Endoscopy (after being given 2 previous appointments) then 7 weeks after that for a procedure and then a further 16 weeks for the follow up which was again cancelled twice. All at the same local hospital. I am only thankful that what they found was nothing serious.

I cannot see why hospitals book appointments (to fit in with targets) knowing full well that they will be cancelled.

It does seem jolly slow.

I went for an Endoscopy procedure on the 25 Nov. The Doctor said I needed another procedure done which would be at the Royle London Hospital.
I know that my Doctor received this information on 26Nov because I phoned the clinic and asked.
As I've heard nothing from the Royle London I went back to my Doctor and I've discovered that they didn't contact the Royle London until the 14 Dec.
It's taken my surgery 2 days short of 3 weeks to contact the Royle London, do you think this is too long?
