Knee assessment

Morning all just read through other thread and can see several of us have had knee problems.

At moment mine are so painful I was close to tears after trip out yesterday,
Had them X-rayed before Xmas and got assessment next week.

I just hope can get some help maybe injection very nervous of surgery and am ,overweight, I do try but obviously need try harder lose some weight.

Anyone else In Similar position?

To anyone with 'knee' problems please ask them to look at your hips as well. Over a period of a couple of years the pain in my knee got so bad that by the end I couldn't leave the house. Everyone kept examining the knee and not finding anything. Eventually a full MRI revealed my right hip had completely crumbled.

Thanks deeda for positive comments, I will report back after consultation wed I managed good night out even did some dancing so that cheered me up, bit painful today?But not too bad.

Gosh what shock for you Humber did hip replacement go ok hope so.

Forgot say thanks ginny for saying age, same as me then am just 61
Ideally would like lose 2 stones but need work at maybe small targets.
Trouble is seem lose about 7lb then get stuck.

Was given huge box thorntons last week late Xmas pres they been put away until Easter!?
