Yes....how about trying Manuka honey instead?
Several years ago when I was a carer I used it against MRSA on my friend's leg skin infection.

I was talking to my daughter about this - she is a micro biologist - and she said these can be found anywhere and everywhere, it is just getting lucky and finding one that would combat the nasties. Much more difficult than appears. She has been doing that for years
The pharmaceutical companies would break their necks to find one - think of the profit!!!!
