harrigran The wait for an appointment to see your GP does seem far too long. I am so pleased to hear you sounding upbeat. A gentle (hug) from me to you.
Good news Harrigran I hope you continue to do well and the chemotherapy isn't too incapacitating for you. You need to eat as well as you can and rest as much as you want to get you in the best possible "place" for it.
Just a quick update, I am recovering and the Consultant is pleased with my progress. I have an appointment with the Oncologist on 29th February to arrange my chemotherapy. The hospital staff were brilliant and the specialist nurses are very caring, the only snag is not being able to get an appointment with GP until 3rd March, having been discharged from hospital on 26th January.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I am doing everything I am told and getting plenty of rest. Today I went out for a gentle walk but had to lie down and sleep when I came back.
