Sugar-coated Vaseline for lips...

...is a thing. I saw some in a shop today. Didn't have time to check out the exact ingredients. It doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

Sounds as though it's supposed to make your lips appear sort of...glazed.

Sounds nasty - I hate those lip balms that taste of fruit or something sweet. Clarins Lip Oil is brilliant and tasteless.

Maybe it's meant to be sort of a scrub for dry lips as well?

I did read some remedies for very dry sore lips recently , one suggested mixing sugar with Vaseline and using it as a gentle scrub to exfoliate .
