incisional hernia

almost five years ago I had a laproscopic kidney removal. I have now developed two incisional hernias. Dr says to carry on as normal. I hate feeling this lump pop out from time to time. has anyone else experienced this

Not personally but have seen many professionally. Unless its very disabling its not usually treated/operated on. I hope its not too uncomfortable for you.

DH has a massive one from a bowel resection and tumour removal 8(?) years ago. Looks like a low slung pregnancy over to one side. Very uncomfortable but nobody wants to risk surgery now because of his other probs.
If only they had thought of it sooner ...........angry
