Nipple discharge.

I had an itchy nipple and went to GP in fear and trembling. It turned out to be eczema. Since then I have been moisturising regularly.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments. I went to the doctor and she gave me a thorough examination and said that although she can't find anything which she would consider abnormal, she will refer me to the breast clinic as discharge always needs to be investigated. So now I am waiting for an appointment, and I'll let you know when I get the letter. It's nice to be able to 'speak' to somebody else about this, thank you for your support.

Good luck Phoenix13. Any breast abnormality needs to be checked as soon as possible. I had a minute lump a few years ago and my feet didn't touch the ground until I'd been cleared by a thorough examination at the local breast clinic. Thinking of you this afternoon.

I had that a couple of years ago. You must go to the doctor soon. I went and was thoroughly checked over. I was fine and told it was" wear and tear."!!!!!! All the best.

Good- oh - Dr. assured me it was normal which to be honest I thankfully accepted, then she later contacted me saying perhaps she ought to refer me, the consultant sent me off for a mammagram and the rest is history -thank God.

Oh and I'm glad to hear that you are almost certainly okay.

It happened to me 12 years ago. Initially I was told nothing wrong but knew something was wrong. Early stage breast cancer. Still here though so don't panic almost certainly OK. Speak if you need to again.
