I had endoscopy under sedation last Wednesday to remove a stone from bile duct. Doctor was unable to remove so a stent was inserted. The procedure went ok, however I had abdomen pain while still in recovery and was given paracetamol which didn't work. I mentioned to doc before I left that I was still in some discomfort. He examined me and said everything was fine and to take painkillers when I got home. It is 5th day and I'm still experiencing dull ache at times in abdomen and back. I was fine yesterday but it's come on again today. I know there is risk of pancreaitis after this procedure but think pain would be more severe and unending. Have appointment with my GP Wednesday but wonder if anyone out there has had same experience. I thought after endoscopy I would feel better not worse.
