Can anyone give me an idea how much private hearing aids would cost? It will settle an argument with DH who seems to think they would be about 50 quid.

We have just had to replace my mother's and they were just under £1,000. They were at the cheaper end of Specsavers. I seem to remember her original ones, which were very similar, were more. She could not manage the very small ones but I do feel they are by far one of the best things we have bought for her
