We welcome you to the "REAL" Support Group's first meeting. In this session we are lucky to have a special guest speaker, Elly Royal, Counsellor and Physiotherapist. Elly will be sharing her experiences in helping people who are living with pain and the emotional aspects, often as a result, when managing a long-term health condition. The session will be interactive.

Also speaking at this meeting is Arthritis Care's, Cassy. She will be sharing insights on 'Travelling with Arthritis' and 'Taking medication safely Abroad'. More information on this can be found on the charity's website.

Everyone is welcome - people living with the Arthritis or a similar auto-immune condition; carer; supporters; people with a medical background. Or people with a general interest who may want to learn more and even volunteer their time to help us provide support to others.

Refreshments will be available. Please arrive at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
If anyone would like to volunteer now please contact Cassy on: [email protected]

Being a grandma who has a severe health issue, it is just so frustrating! My pain relief and carer both blipped (never had that mix in 15 years) and I missed my Granddaughter's First birthday. 120 miles away, and for once, in tears. I have a big injury to my lower spine, an sij that is ceasing to be a joint and an unhappy pelvis/hip. My eyesight is now blurred as a result. I wondered please, after just enough background info to connect, or not if preferred, those of us struggling with health to see our grandchildren, could chat. Do I have arthritis in this mix? Yes, it loves joint injuries. Does determination, a sense of humour and a love of people help? Yes, everybody!

P.S. the Arthritis care org, above, sounds great. Does anyone know more about it, please? Thanks
