You know you're ill when...

I used to work with a woman who you used to phone work occasionally and say she was not coming in as she had a cold, the following day she would be back with no sign of a cold. Her excuse was always that she would take off to Southend and walk to the end of the pier so that the wind would 'blow the germs away'! I was never sure whether or not it was a miracle cure or an excuse for a day at the seaside......

I'm not actually vote keen on whisky so no dram for me. I'm fantasising about Victory Vs right now. Blimey. I must be ill!
I know its just a cold and that so many GNers are struggling with much more serious afflictions. Sorry if I'm exaggerating too much. Had a bad night.

I think perhaps a wee dram in a drink that contains paracetamol might not be a good idea! I like to have a honey and lemon drink made by me with a couple of paracetamol, soothing.

I use Beechams Powders for my go to cold remedy. I find about 30 mins after taking one ( and I do use the powders not the pills) Ill get a couple of hours where I might not be 100% but I'm the best I'm going to be .

I'll be stocking up on everything and anything that might help later. I've got lots of Boots advantage card points saved up. I'm such a wuss but I feel awful as well as annoyed!

Boots Flu and Cold Relief works better for me than Lemsip. Oh and a wee dram in it at bedtime ?
