Dry eye - watery eye

I do the same thing PRITMISS. I've also found the Optrex spray( the one you spray on your eyelids) works well too .

I just use the facial cleaning pads as a warm bath for my eyes. Run one under the hot tap, and keep bathing for a few minutes, then dry gently with another. Great first thing in the morning.

The warm flannel doesn't last warm for long so I went on line and found how to make your own heat pad. I bought a cotton flannel sewed it up after filling with rice. As suggested put in oven (don't have a microwave) on a glass dish 150° for 15 mins keeps warm for around 10mins.

I have dry eyes - luckily only from time to time - the best drops I have found come from my doctors and are called "Hylo-TEAR"

I have just trawled round Boots to find something for my weepy eyes. I am 99% sure it relates to my nickel allergy. The glasses I have are titanium, but I am pretty sure the screws contain nickel. I found several eye drops that I will try.

I have also just bought some new glasses - I had a half price ticket - and they are titanium, but seem to have screws the same colour as the frames, so I am hoping that all will be well with them. Time will tell.

It works, I have dry eye syndrome, it comes and goes, the warm compress is really relaxing, and I also have some ointment (on prescription) which I can apply, one lot daytime the other lot at night.
