Joking about jaundice raises my hackles when most of the time it’s accompanied by heartbreak.

I trust you have seen a Dr. My son had very slight yellow tinge to his face last summer and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is the most deadly of all cancers. If you have not been checked out I suggest you get checked asap.

Why not yellow? It is the in colour for the spring, according to all fashion editors and would add a sparkle to your talk if you explained that a) you are previewing a fashion trend and b) you have jaundice.

Keep your sense of humour...but do follow medical advice and get well soon.

I am assuming you are not infectious then?
If you are on the mend and it is just the colour , think,of it as a sort of sun tan. A bit of bronzer on your cheeks and strong warm colours.
How are the whites of your eyes?
At the "height" of DH's illness, his eyes were orange - not a good look.

Try standing in front of a mirror in a good light and hold various colours in front of you. Maybe get a friend for a second opinion?

How about getting advise from a make up lady in one of the large stores? She may be able to recommend a foundation.

The reason I need this advice is that I am speaking to a group of ladies later in the week and want to look as well as I can.

You are very observant Elegran as I do have a good sense of humour and can laugh at myself.

Stay away from salmon pink, orange or yellow.

Definitely not blue, the contrast would accentuate the yellow. How about a cheongsam and a rice hat? Pretend that you coloured your skin deliberately to go with them?

(I am assuming from the way your post is written that you can laugh at yourself? Hope so! Bit bear up, it DOES fade eventually.)

I second what MawBroon says, don't worry about your clothes just concentrate on your treatment and getting well again.
