Grans advice is so helpful

After complaining on Gransnet how tired I was after looking after my GC I was advised/prompted to see the GP. Turns out I have vit D deficiency... thank God it is only that and a better diet and supplements will help, but thank you lovely gransnetters for pointing me in the right direction and supplying some really useful advice too. Wearing stout shoes and eating a high protein breakfast before embarking on childcare days is my favouite... love it - and i do it. What gems of wisdom have others had on here?
