I loved this programme. I hope men enjoyed it too and can take on board the message.

Great programme - really enjoyed it from start to finish -and an excellent way to get the message across to men that they have to check themselves.

Well Done to all who took part!

It was a great program , serious message put across with fun

Yes, it was an excellent programme, hula and if it helps remind men to check themselves it was certainly worthwhile too.

starlily106 Fri 16-Jun-17 18:07:54

Thought it was fantastic. Well done to all of them, and to the man who gave his customers a discount if they went to get a check up. Let's hope it makes more men decide to do checks on their bodies regularly, and aren't afraid to go to the doctors if they suspect something could be wrong.
P.S.
I think they were better than the ones in the film!

A good programme, well put together with a good balance between a serious message and a jolly good bit of entertainment. I liked the way no one really dominated it....it was 'their' story and not one person's mission.
I think they probably enjoyed the Sheffield gig more, even though they felt ill prepared - it certainly looked like it in the end!

I cried!

Ashley Banjo is also a Hunk!!
I enjoyed the programme very much & I was also very moved by the mechanic.

My Dad had prostate cancer & left it too long to get it checked out as he never thought he was ill. They cured it but it had spread to hs spine by then. Testicular cancer affects younger men- get your husbands & sons to get tested!!We all have smears & mammograms.

grandMattie Fri 16-Jun-17 12:26:55

DH has survived prostate surgery and is still doing OK in the last 14 years. Don't give up hope, those of you affected.
Excellent programme, and I could kiss the mechanic giving discounts for those who have their PSA tested regularly. Good man!

schnackie Fri 16-Jun-17 11:28:18

Agree with all above. It was a very enjoyable show with serious points made and some very humorous moments. Ashley Banjo is such a pro!

Lovely homage to a great film and support of a great cause. Why is telly s o full of dross all the time when there are quite lovely things to be done?

Albangirl14 Fri 16-Jun-17 10:55:09

Same here a good programme and it a good cause.

blueberry1 Fri 16-Jun-17 10:26:11

I thought the star of the show was the car mechanic who gives discounts for men who have checks.

NickyJo64 Fri 16-Jun-17 10:22:41

I thought it was brilliant - they all focused on what they were doing it for, hats off to those lads (excuse the pun), what fun for them all, men do struggle to get to a doctor, after watching that they shouldn't now - great awareness programme.

NonnaW Fri 16-Jun-17 09:43:54

'good' not 'goosed'!

NonnaW Fri 16-Jun-17 09:43:12

Great programme and a very good way to get the message across. Watched with DH who has prostate cancer, only discovered by chance. So goosed to see this subject being openly discussed.

silverlining48 Fri 16-Jun-17 09:38:46

Watched it enjoyed and shed a tear as husband has just had prostate surgery.

merlotgran Fri 16-Jun-17 09:04:56

I'm relieved we didn't get to see Alexander Armstrong's 'bits'.

I wouldn't be able to watch Pointless again. shock

mcem Fri 16-Jun-17 09:02:12

Entertaining, humorous and quite heart-warming.
(And easy on the eye!)

Charleygirl Fri 16-Jun-17 08:53:42

harrigran Thu 15-Jun-17 23:46:00

I thought it was very well done and a great way of raising awareness.

Anniebach Thu 15-Jun-17 22:15:57

I agree hulahoop

hulahoop Thu 15-Jun-17 22:07:50

Just watched them revealing their all I thought they were brilliant what a great way to raise awareness of male cancers . If it gets more men to check themselves then it will all have been worth it . Hats off to you blokes .
